About Digital Charities

We are a diverse, international community who share digital knowledge and help each other to deliver compelling digital content, experiences and campaigns. New members and ideas for our monthly, London-based meetings are always welcome.

We use Slack as our primary digital home and try to cross-post the best stuff to Twitter, Facebook and email.

We first came together to discuss how to work together on web for Make Poverty History. The group has kept meeting ever since.

We meet on the first Wednesday of the month, usually in an office of one of our members in London.

Members of the group include digital campaigners, web editors, designers and digital managers from Amnesty International, ActionAid, Bond, Centrepoint, Greenpeace, Oxfam, UNICEF, Christian Aid, Friends of the Earth, WWF and many more. To join, you must be employed by a charity or NGO, though we often have external speakers.

The current DC chairs are Julius Honnor from Contentious, Neil Gunn from Forum for the Future and Gemma Hampson from Centrepoint.
